End of Summer: Relax and Recharge
And now, dear readers, as all in life has an end, so the sunny, long summer days are going to cool curtain. We send them off with a little sadness and hope for a better future! We gather summer memories, craft creative compositions that will warm us on the winter days and carry us on the waves of the experiences we have had... But don't worry, September comes with the smell of baked pumpkin, a new school year for some, new friendships and a way into new knowledge.

The transition from the lazy, spontaneous days of summer back to the more calm rhythms of autumn can feel a bit overwhelming. Therefore, I want to share some of my favorite tips regarding how to balance deep relaxation with smart preparation during these last sunny days of summer. Let’s go!
Tips on how to balance relaxation and preparation during the last days of summer.
1. Enjoy the Final Moments of Sunshine.
The end of summer doesn't mean the fun has to stop suddenly.
Maybe some of you think about the hustle and bustle of back-to-school season and others for the stressful atmosphere in the office with an abundance of tasks and meetings. Only careful; don't overwhelm yourself! 😊
Here's an idea for one last summer cheer. It doesn't need to be anything huge, you know? Maybe just a chill picnic in the park or catching the sunset from that spot you love. And then, let's try to actually disconnect for a bit. How about a weekend with less screen time? Really soak in that last bit of sunshine and just let your thoughts wander without a bunch of tasks hanging over you. Oh, and maybe create a little summer memory scrapbook or creative composition from gathered natural pieces. Just grab a notebook and describe some of the moments you really enjoyed over the last few months. Seriously, when you read it in the cold month, it’ll feel like a nice warm hug.

2. Ease into the Rhythm after Vacation's Days.
Getting back into a previous routine, especially regarding sleep, is not always easy. Summer often means late nights with fun and transitioning into a new routine doesn't have to happen instantly!!!
Try to move your bedtime and wake-up time just 10 minutes earlier every few days. By the time of the first day after the vacation, your body clock won't be fighting you so much. Another simple trick is to try to catch some morning sunlight. Just spend about ten minutes outside right after you wake up. It’s a natural signal to your body that it’s time to get going and helps reset your post-vacation rhythm.

3. Get into the Back-to-School Vibe.
Summer is great, I know, but there's something special about the feeling of September. That aroma of new pencils, clean notebooks and the general sense of a fresh start—this is really a base for new creativities.

Let's make shopping fun! Instead of just grabbing supplies or clothes, turn it into a little event. Maybe get your favorite coffee, pick a good playlist and just enjoy looking for one perfect new backpack or planner. And how about making up a comfy study spot at home? It sounds majestic, doesn't it? Whether it is for you or the kids, having a dedicated space without a mess makes a huge difference. Add a little plant and a comfortable desk lamp. Don't forget—some cool quotes can make it a place where you can achieve new educational peaks!
4. Set Priorities.
I try to think of September as a second, more practical New Year... Instead of waiting until January, I use September energy to push the reset button.

So, first consider your goals! Grab a notebook and sketch down whatever you're hoping to accomplish or learn over the next few months. Be real with yourself and keep it gentle. Then, make self-care a priority. It’s super easy for the hours for yoga, reading or even just a coffee break with yourself to be reset when lessons, homework and everything else start overwhelming you. Choose now one wellness habit you absolutely won't skip, no matter what.
5. Welcome the Autumn Warmth and Comfort.
As we say "goodbye" to the watermelon and beach days, we are welcoming the wonderful coziness of autumn. September brings a sense of change and may be one new better beginning...
I start to think about baking something delicious! Embrace the season with the aroma of banana bread, cinnamon rolls, or—of course—something spiced with pumpkin and nuts and cinanmon. 🍪 That wonderful aroma filling your home with majestic and pleasant comfort. Ah, don't forget the wardrobe! Get out your favorite jackets, light scarves and comfy boots. As the evening breeze begins to cool, layering up brings a calming joy.

Final Thoughts
Yes, dear readers, summer ending doesn't mean that the adventures stop. It's more like you are flipping the page to another really great part of the year. So, take a bit of time to actually chill out, get your energy back, and think about the school year coming up; you can jump into September feeling energized and looking forward to new things and possibilities. 🪄🔮
